The Starlight Suite offers a licensed fully-furnished two-bedroom apartment unit, walk-out basement suite, with it's own separtate entrance in my detached house. The shared and heated POOL IS OPEN JUNE THROUGH SEPTEMBER. The Starlight Suite is in a fantastic residential area of Coquitlam, called Ranch Park, and is about a 25 minute drive to Vancouver, BC. There are two twin-beds in one of the bedrooms, and a queen-bed in the master bedroom. The suite sleeps four comfortably, however, there is a double sofa bed plus a single roll-away bed available for up to seven staying in a pinch. There is free high speed wifi.
The living room, with an electric fireplace is open to the fully-equipped kitchen area, and both offer all the amenities of home. There is a full bathroom, plus a shared laundry room area. Also included in your stay, cable television with Netflix on a 51” flat screen. In the summer, if needed, I do also have a portable air conditioner which can be set up.
There is off street parking available in the driveway for 2 cars (I have seen some have 3 there). The driveway is right near the front door, without steps,
Which is great for guests with mobility issues.
There is access to the locked shared yard, with the large pool and swingset. Adult supervision is required for children as there is no supervision provided and no fence again between the playground and pool. There is a designated table and chairs, barbecue and lounge chairs for guests in the 2 bedroom suite.
The pool is shared, and for everyone’s enjoyment and safety, a sign up board is near the pool to book 1 hour time slots throughout the day, as others may wish to use the pool. The pool is open and heated June through September.
We are close to the Coquitlam Town Centre where there is the Coquitlam Centre Mall, West Coast Express, Evergreen skytrain station and many shops and restaurants. All are within a 6 minute drive. There is a bus stop about a 7 minute walk away which can take you to or from the Coquitlam Town Centre. You could walk down, but as we are in a hill you will want to take a vehicle back to the suite.
The suite has been extremely popular since 2003 as a great place for persons or families that are between buying and selling homes, vacationing in the area, visiting nearby family and friends, and insurance claims of fire and damage. We are sure you will enjoy your stay!
