Direct private access to the Confederation Trail makes for easy cycling, hiking, and taking in the beautiful natural surroundings.
Guests have access to their own private cottage. The yard and fire pit, the garden shed with washer/dryer, and the walking path to the Confederation Trail are shared only with the next-door cottage guests.
We live about an hour away from the cottage, so we likely won't be onsite during your visit unless assistance is needed. However, we're happy to offer our favourite must-see spots to make sure you have the best PEI vacation ever!
As is the case with any rural area on PEI in the summertime, mosquitoes and black-flies are around (particularly at sunrise and sunset). While we provide some bug spray for your use, we recommend that you come prepared with your own repellant products as well.
Petsarepermitted (maximum 1), but please clean up after them (indoors, in the yard, beach, and the general community grounds). Please bring your pet's own bedding and blankets, and be watchful to avoid any soiling or scratching of the furniture and bedding. If your pet tends to roam, we ask that you keep them on a leash in the yard to avoid surprising the neighbours.
