The space
Every aspect of this cottage has been remodeled to exemplify a place of happiness, relaxation, safety, and refuge.
From the quiet road, you can’t miss it, as the cottage's all- green exterior and large black windows contrast its beautiful calming treed surroundings.
This one-floor cottage makes for an ideal common area. The living room opens up into the dining area which opens up into the kitchen, so everyone can exist together in the same space without feeling on top of one another. Relax by watching a movie on the comfortable sectional or taking in all the peaceful views from the large windows.
(There is also a washer and dryer here, so if you like to relax with laundry, knock yourself out!)
We know that eating at the finest restaurants can be fun. But sometimes we all need a nice home-cooked meal, right? That's why our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you'll need to cook you and your family a nice dinner.
The cottage has 1 full bath located beside bedrooms 2 & 3, with easy access to the main living area and kitchen. Bedroom 1, located just off the living area is great for those who want their own space. This primary bedroom has a queen-sized bed, closet, ceiling fan, beautiful pot lights, gas fireplace, office area, double pull-out bed, and a sliding door leading you to the backyard patio oasis.
Is that a cloud you're sleeping on? Nope, that's just the memory foam mattress we stock in every bedroom!
Bedrooms 2 and 3 are located right beside each other and adjacent to the main bathroom. You’ll find Bedroom 2, equipped with a double bed, small closet, and ceiling fan. To the left is Bedroom 3, equipped with two twin-sized beds and a ceiling fan.
No need to draw straws on who sleeps where, because every room in the house is its own little sanctuary :)
The peaceful and tranquil yard offers several activities, as well. Feel free to lounge on the patio sectional or at the below-deck hot tub surrounded by additional deck seating. Feeling for a fire? There are six Adirondack chairs circling the custom fire pit. Also, feel free to simply exist and do absolutely nothing; sometimes the most peaceful thing you can do is nothing at all.
While the home is equipped to host 8 people, we think the perfect group size is 5-6. We're happy to host all 8, but keep in mind it will be a little cozier.
Guest access
The cottage is situated on a large lot You are free to roam and explore the nearby park and private or public beaches. Guests will be provided with smart lock access for their stay, making check-in a smooth and easy process.
Other things to note
There is a private beach a minute away from the property. Currently, it is out of commission due to stair reconstruction, but there are two other nearby public beaches with the addition of a 12-minute drive to Grand Bend Beach!
Please keep in mind that we run on septic. Please do not flush ANYTHING that's not toilet paper.
In an effort to keep the entire property more secure, we have installed security Cameras on the front exterior of the home.
