Summary: Many positives about this accommodation. For starters, it is right across the street from the #4 free shuttle stop that takes you to Whistler transit exchange (base of Whistler). There is also a great grocery store just a stone's throw away. Also nearby is the start of the village stroll, taking you through the heart of Whistler. So you have the peace and quiet of being separated from the village, while having it right there. You can park and forget about your car. The staff at reception are very helpful. Everything was set when I arrived, and when I accidentally left behind some important things after check out, they were very helpful in making sure I got them back. When I called, they picked up on the first ring--no cumbersome leaving of messages and delayed call backs. The accommodation itself is more than adequate. The second bedroom is a little small, but having two bathrooms eased any crowding issues. We used the private hot tub every day. The kitchen, though small, is better equipped than any I've stayed in, with all the utensils, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc. a normal home kitchen would have. Parking is convenient. The room is a little worn, with missing moulding in the kitchen and some banged up places, but by no means as bad as some places I've stayed. Cleaning was good, but could have been better. Without going into too much detail, the toilet needed another going over before we arrived and some sweeping behind one of the chairs, where there was also a champagne cork. Both kitchen and bath had all the soap, shampoo, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, etc. we needed for a week, without having to ask for more. That sounds like a no brainer, but I've stayed places that left only, say, one dishwasher pod for our week's stay. It was a hassle to have to ask for more. In short, I'd definitely stay here again and I am impressed with the responsiveness of iTrip Whistler, the property management outfit.
