Summary: I've stayed at this Moxy almost every year since 2014. I loved it, the airport location is unbeatable. But the decline is now impossible to ignore. The room was dirty, with a disgusting white stain on the artwork by the entrance. The door didn't lock properly, I had to push it closed, and the metal latch inside was completely loose. The room I booked for my kids had tiny beds; my son is 6'2" and barely fit. Breakfast has gone downhill too. We were there right at 6 AM when it opens, and the Semmeln already tasted old, there's no way they were fresh that morning. Gluten-free options were barely existent. And skip the welcome drink voucher, some gin concoction that's genuinely undrinkable. Worst of all: the price. I paid €99 a night when I started coming. Now it's nearly €200, and with tax, fees, and breakfast for me and my kids, close to $500 for one night in two rooms. For a hotel that visibly invests nothing in upkeep, that's absurd. I've complained before. Someone even reached out once. Nothing changed, except the price. I would love to love the Moxy. But after all these years of loyalty, I won't be back.
