This large attached garage has been recently renovated to an open concept 430 sq. ft. tastefully decorated lakefront studio apartment. This luxurious space has expansive lake views, is available for guests from May to November and is used as an artisan's studio from December- April
The property is 3/4 acre, is very private with many trees, shrubs, garden areas, lots of outdoor seating options and a beautiful lakefront.
The 430 sq ft studio has an open concept design, ample living space, comfortable queen sized bed with TV, fireplace and and lake views. Living room area has comfortable seating including a loeseat and 2 chairs and a vintage record plsyer where you can peruse our collection of vintage LPS. This space was designed for travellers, options for storing or hanging clothing are available.
The Kitchenette is large, inviting and is well stocked with a guest mini fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and kettle.
The studio is attached to the main house with a sound barrier firewall separating the 2 living quarters. The studio space is not shared with anyone, it's all yours with your own private bathroom.
Our neigborhood has 3 different take-outs with convenience store, also a pharmacy and liquor store. The gas stations are located at the beginning of the Prospect Road. We have a community center with free use of computers and a pay per use of their gym facility if you like to work out. There is a drivng range and 2 golf courses with access to their fine dining experience. We are 15 mins to Bayers Lake where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, Costco, hardware stores etc. Its where we do our everyday shopping.
There are ample walking or hiking trails in the area, and close proximity to the ocean with ocean accesses.
The yard space is peaceful and inviting, picture a serence lakefront setting within mins of the city. You will see a multitude of birds and ducks, and often deer, pheasants and other small wild life enjoying the organically grown grass and veggies from our garden.
The waterfront is beautiful with easy access into the lake. A new wharf was built two years ago, where folks are welcome to use anytime, in the evening it is the petfect spot to watch the sun go down. The water gets nice and warm in the summer, a great place to wade, swim or just enjoy some leisure kayaking.
