- NOTE; 5th bedroom is for 13 or more guests. 2nd bedroom is for 9 or more guests.
-The "Super Kitchen", is spacious for several chefs, fully stocked for your entertaining.
-Main Dining room table seats 8, plus adjacent bar seating for 3, Over flow in living room table for 4. The downstairs dining table seats 6. There are 2 more table for 6 in recreational
-2 decks have outdoor seating with BBQ propane grills.
-Free large, oversized parking on property for vehicles, ATV. Also good free street parking.-
- NO recreational vehicles allowed on property at anytime.
-Recreation room has a pool table, foosball table, game tables, a large screen TV with surround sound. 6 comfortable recliners and plenty of seating
-Guests really like our Chalet and the views of Sierra Blanca Mountain and the Lincoln National Forest are adjacent to our backyard.
-See the deer, elk and a variety of wildlife at our dining room windows.
-Spacious, comfortable living room with a fireplace You can purchase firewood locally or special order with the host. (if available)
-Master bath has a jetted tub, walk in shower with a seat, toilet room and walk-in closet.
-The backyard shares a border with the Lincoln National Forest.
-The Woodlands Chalet is physically within the boundary of the Village of Cloudcroft yet it is secluded at 9000 feet elevation on a cul-de-sac road.
-Temperatures are cool year around, no air conditioning is required nor available.
-2 step entry onto the upper entrance deck, then 1 more step into the residence. Interior door ways are wide for wheel chairs.
-Easy access for seniors and those with walkers. ( no ramps)
-1 step entry at the lower driveway entrance into the recreational room and bedrooms.
-Hiking and motorized trails near the Woodlands Chalet, abound throughout the Sacramento Mountains and the Lincoln National Forest. The early railroad history is evident in Cloudcroft. We highly recommend the Village Museum and the Trestle (a replica of one of the many wooden structures erected so the train could navigate the numerous canyons along the route).
-Many restaurants offer great eating places We have a local brewery in the Village.
-Snow removal is provided by the Village, up to the driveway. 2 Snow shovels are provided. Normally, we have 3-5 inches of snow at any given time, then it melts. Please note 4 wheel drive vehicle during the winter months.
Host has no control of the utility outages nor weather conditions. No refunds after posted cancellation timelines. No pets, smoking, parties, see house rules.
-Cameras are located on the exterior of the Chalet, motion, video, audio recording.
-The Woodlands Chalet has a base fee for the lst 6 guests, additional guests are $60.00 per-person, X's number of nights per reservation. If you bring non-paying guests, you will be ask to vacate the premises without any refund. So, please pay for all guests and enjoy your stay with us.
